The spread is versatile. For example, I love to use it as a topping in porridge, as a sweet spread on bread or as a snack spoon in-between when I need something sweet, because I don't have a guilty conscience afterwards. Sure, the spread is very high in calories due to the high percentage of nuts, therefore one should enjoy it in a limited amount, but it is still much better than bought.

It becomes really creamy soft and can be sweetened as required. However, you should keep in mind that the more maple syrup or similar you use, the harder the cream becomes.
