Raspberry Chia Jam

Marmelade aus dem Supermarkt kaufe ich mittlerweile gar nicht mehr, weil die meist aus 50% Zucker besteht. Ich präferiere eher diese Variante, denn durch die Chiasamen gibt es noch ein paar gesunde Omega-3-Fettsäuren on top! Außerdem ist sie super schnell gemacht und kommt auch bei allen Nicht-Veganern super gut an.
Duration 15 minutes
Ingredients for 1 jar
- 300g frozen raspberries
- 30g chia seeds
- 20g liquid sweetener (agave syrup, maple syrup or similar)
Preparation
- heat raspberries in a pot with closed lid until they become like mush, stir again and again
- add chia seeds and maple syrup, pour into a jar and let cool
- store in the refrigerator
Remarks
The jam keeps refrigerated for several days.
¹ The sweetener is absolutely not necessary. If you like it less sweet too, you can cut down on the calories. From time to time I don't use extra sweetener, depends on what I use the jam for. As a toppig in my porridge I do not need the extra sweetness, because my porridge is usually sweet enough :)
