High Protein Mango Carrot Smoothie Bowl

The mixture of mango and carrots sounds strange? It's not. It's just a trick to incorporate more vegetables into your daily routine. And I promise you: you won't taste the carrot unpleasantly. In combination with banana, this Smoothie Bowl tastes simply like heaven!

Ingredients for 1 portion
Base:
  • 1/2 mango¹
  • 1/2 banana¹
  • 1 carrot
  • 100g plant drink (here: oat drink)
  • 15g plantbased protein powder (optional)²
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
Toppings:
  • 1/2 banana
  • 10g flax seeds
  • 5g hemp seeds
  • 10g goji berries
  • 3g amaranth puffed
Preparation
  1. put the basic ingredients into a mixer and mix thoroughly until a smooth mixture is obtained
  2. decorate with the topping ingredients and serve
Remarks
¹ You can use both frozen and fresh fruit. The Smoothie Bowl gets creamier if you use frozen ones.
² I use here a rice and pea protein mixture, which I mixed from 70g rice protein and 30g pea protein. This 7:3 mixing ratio is important to get all essential amino acids. If necessary, I always take out as much powder from the jar as I need.
